Yesterday and today we participated in a solidarity event organized by some local comrades, which included .aaaa with the collaboration of .cultura as well other incredible people. We helped bring some art supplies for painting signs to carry during the rally today. There was great music, food, and a lively atmosphere of cooperation.

The event was focused on bringing more attention to the injustice and abuse that the organized Indigenous peoples of the Mexican state of Guerrero have been facing from drug cartel organizations and the lack of a response from the state forces that are supposed to keep the common people safe. Of course as we and especially indigenous people in Mexico know all too well, the state and organized crime collaborate so often that they may as well be one and the same, a "Narcoestado" as many have dubbed it. The organized indigenous people, the CIPOG-EZ have lost many community members and comrades to these greedy and bloodthirsty parasites, but they are not forgotten. We will elevate their cause and spread word of this ongoing and I just massacre.

Capitalism and imperialism continue to kill indigenous people after all these years of invasion, and this is it's latest manifestation.

El pueblo seguirá en pie de lucha mientras haya aliento en los pulmones, y un sueño de libertad en la mente.

Viva el CIPOG-EZ, Viva el Pueblo Nahua, que vivan los pueblos Indígenas!

Happy Earth Day. 🌎
May we see the downfall of the fossil fuel industry in our lifetime. It will not come naturally, it will take our collective efforts.

Even with some rain at the beginning we managed to get some trash picked up today. This is one of four large bags of trash we picked up today from Cicero Ave. This one happens to be recyclable material. Lots of great conversation and education was had and hopefully good progress for future organization building. We will be gearing up for more actions soon as the weather warms up and the people's needs increase. Feel free to join us for any future action and reach out to us for any questions.

Earth Day 2026. Join us in doing a small cleanup of our streets while we discuss politics and larger topics about our earth and our economic systems that contribute to its destruction. We'll start on the southwest corner of Cicero and Fullerton where the Walgreens is and work our way down. Liberal environmentalism and capitalism cannot continue, we need radical change to all of our systems if we want not just ourselves but our ecosystems to survive the climate apocalypse that has already started. Become a part of the change and begin thinking differently about your place on this earth.
