Santiago es un espejo que refleja la vida cotidiana. No pregunta dónde te sientas en la iglesia, sino cómo tratas al pobre que entra en ella. No pregunta por tu teología, sino por cómo usas tu lengua un martes por la mañana. No pregunta si crees que Dios existe; te recuerda que incluso los demonios creen, y tiemblan. Santiago nos llama a una fe viva, activa, humilde e íntegra.

Let's take a closer look at the book of James:
James is a mirror held up to everyday life. It does not ask where you sit in church — it asks how you treat the poor man who walks in. It does not ask about your theology — it asks about your tongue on a Tuesday morning. It does not ask if you believe God exists — it reminds you that even the demons believe, and they shudder. James calls us to a faith that is alive, active, humble, and whole.
