The fifty-year strategic verdict is in. Not ambiguous. Not open to interpretation. A consistent, documented, empirically verifiable failure to achieve the stated objectives — and a consistent, empirically verifiable success at achieving the unstated ones: resource extraction, permanent instability, and the enrichment of the network that profits from both.
The "Elimination Doctrine & The Road to Technological Barbarism" traces the full architecture of a doctrine that Israel forged, America industrialized, and a neoconservative-neoliberal network sustained across five decades and five continents. From the CIA's Phoenix Program in Vietnam to Munich 1972, from the PLO shadow war to the Iraq invasion, from the Soleimani assassination to the January 2026 capture of Venezuela's Maduro — it is the same doctrine, the same network, and the same calculus: problems of the Global South are most efficiently managed by removing the human beings who organize resistance to external control of their resources.
The Lancet documented 38 million deaths from Western sanctions since 1971. Lockheed Martin's stock rose 1,236 percent between 2001 and 2012. Halliburton received $39.5 billion in no-bid contracts in Iraq. The pretexts rotate. The beneficiaries do not. And the same eliminationist logic that built this machine abroad — from Wounded Knee through Jim Crow through the prison-industrial complex — has always operated at home as well, at different distances from the same centers of power.
This is not the doctrine failing. This is the doctrine working — for those it was always designed to serve.

☢️POD #067 — Escalating Pretexts: How Shifting Goalposts Manufacture Forever Wars
⚠️Tonkin. Baghdad. Tehran. The pattern doesn't change — only the pretext does.
🫡This piece cuts through the noise by turning to analysts who have been consistently right: Macgregor, Ritter, Mearsheimer, Marandi, Crooke, Escobar, Wilkerson, Kwiatkowski, Johnson, and Mercouris. Their collective scorecard on the U.S.-Israeli War Against Iran at Day 27? Straight A's — across regime change failure, interceptor bankruptcy, diplomatic sabotage, Iran's decentralized mosaic strategy, Gulf state panic, and the impossibility of air-power-only regime change.
✅The single most telling data point of the war arrived today — Trump posting on Truth Social that he was pausing strikes "as per Iranian Government request." Iran is setting the terms. These analysts called it.
🤥Meanwhile, mainstream media keeps deploying paid pundits with undisclosed conflicts of interest, retired generals serving as Pentagon message multipliers, CIA-adjacent journalism, and think tanks that function as stenographers of empire.
The pretext escalation ladder doesn't climb upward. It descends. And we keep following it down.
Podcast of the Day #067: Escalating Pretexts: How Shifting and Expanding Goalposts Manufacture Forever Wars — and the voices that tell the truth “Israel got us into the 2003 war with Iraq.
“The earliest and strongest indication that Iran would target energy infrastructure linked to the United States or Israel came from Iran itself, as they had already provided clear and repeated warnings: mess with our energy infrastructure and we will mess with yours. And unlike the U.S. which committed an act of perfidy when in attacking them jointly with Israel in the midst of negotiations, the Iranians, if one studies the record, have kept their word.”
