How to pray for an hour. (Drop names in the comments of people we should pray for.) 🤍 Begin with 5 minutes of worship, exalting the Lord for His greatness and love. Sing praises or meditate on His attributes. Then, spend 5 minutes in thanksgiving, acknowledging God’s goodness in your life. Thank Him for His blessings, protection, and provision. Next, take 5 minutes for confession. Humbly admit your sins and seek His forgiveness, trusting in His grace and mercy. Move into 5 minutes of praying the Psalms to the Lord. Use the words of the Psalms to express your heart to God, aligning your spirit with His. Spend 5 minutes praying for your authorities—leaders in government, your workplace, and your church. Ask God to grant them wisdom and integrity. Then, dedicate 5 minutes to pray for missionaries. Lift up those spreading the Gospel worldwide, asking for their protection and effectiveness. Spend 5 minutes praying for unsaved friends or family members. Plead for their salvation and for opportunities to share God’s love with them. Use 5 minutes for other general requests, bringing various needs before the Lord. Next, ask for wisdom, grace, and humility in specific areas of your life for 5 minutes.
