48 HR FILM FESTIVAL - COBB 403 - 10 MIN FROM NOW!!

This week commences our annual 48-hour film festival!! The 48-Hour Film Festival is an annual Fire Escape event in which participants must make a whole short film from scratch in only 48 hours. The film must be based on a prompt which is kept secret until the 48 hours begin. Any UChicago student can participate in groups of up to 2 people. If you don't have anyone in mind, don't worry! We will be pairing people up at the info session/prompt reveal. The 48-hour production period will last from 7 PM on Friday May 1st, 2026, to 7 PM on Sunday May 3rd, 2026. On May 7th at 7 PM, you'll get to see each other's short films and vote on your favorite! The winners and runners up will receive prizes.
