Legat Architects: Sustainability Performance Design

We joined District 300 and Lamp Incorporated to break ground on additions and renovations at Dundee-Crown High School. The Legat-designed project will refresh the school’s image and enhance its career and technical education offerings.

Revived spaces will accommodate everything from automotive repair and robotics to culinary arts and fashion merchandising. The project even brings a business incubator where students can pitch ideas.

For years, Rock Island’s West End has gone without a full-service financial institution. That is about to change.

Legat joined Ascentra Credit Union and Russell Co to break ground on Ascentra’s new facility at 600 11th Street. The 3,000-square-foot center will bring retail banking, financial coaching, mortgage lending, and business services to an underserved neighborhood.

The project will also support Rock Island’s plan to revitalize the West End by transforming long-vacant properties into productive community assets.
