“Chicago Hanami”
According to the Chicago Park District, the Japanese word “Hanami” translates directly as “flower viewing.” It was well worth the spontaneous trek down to Jackson Park to view some of the more than 200 Cherry Blossom trees in bloom last week!
Thanks to my friend and fellow creative, Cary Zartman, for reminding me that things were a-bloomin’ and providing the inspo for my outing.
