Flashback to 3 weeks ago when our 8U team gave it their all at the Go Pro tournament! 🏅Despite a heart-pounding 5-3 loss in the championship, they crushed it with *58 runs* over four games! So proud of every player & all the incredible memories we made together! ⚾️

Last night was pure magic for our 8U Dunham Bulls pitchers! With a jaw-dropping 12 strikeouts and NO hits allowed, they brought home a solid 9-0 victory! 🏆 Each of them earned their game ball—talk about teamwork! Let’s keep this momentum rolling, Baby Bulls! ❤️⚾️

We’re so excited to have our college friends in Chicago with us! They moved back to the midwest and welcomed their second daughter in September. Our kids all became instant best friends, and there is so much fun still yet to be had! We had a cold and windy day, but we made the most of it!

& of course we celebrated with ice cream!

A fun little backstory: Melissa and I met back in the fall of 2018 working together at Rainbow Hospice & Palliative Care. We were both newlyweds and new to the job - Melissa was settling her roots in Chicago and working as a Music Therapist and I was finishing my MSW as a new mom. We would have endless conversations about our love of the west coast and the dreams of the future to come for our families and our careers. Fast forward years later being reconnected over a neighborhood Facebook group while Melissa was searching for a photographer for today. Years have passed since we last saw one another, yet like in the most beautiful friendships, it was like no time at all. I still can’t quite grasp how this day was so beautifully orchestrated and I was gifted a front row seat to see my sweet friend officially adopt her girls and officially become The Jommerbell’s. Congrats and cheers to a lifetime of love and giggles! ❤️
