A lot of times the very thing God called you to do is the one thing you don’t want to do, nor feel qualified to do. Do it anyway. I’m called to preach but I often don’t want to nor feel qualified to do so. Most of your favorite pastors DID NOT want to be a pastor. But they were obedient.

What has God called you to do that you didn’t want to do?

Sometimes God waits until you become content to move you to the next level. 1 Timothy 6:6 “Godliness with contentment is great gain”

People will be people. People will hurt you. People will abandon you. People will talk about you. But don’t go to church for people, go to church for Jesus. We live in a privileged time where there is a church for everybody. If people hurt you in a church, do your best and let God lead you to another. There is no excuse for wrongdoing from the people in the church. But Jesus didn’t hurt you, people did.
