Increase The Peace

Last Friday, we kicked off our 2026 PlayStreets Series with our first activation in Brighton Park, and what a great way to start the summer!

Community enjoyed fresh fruit, free pizza, snow cones, grab-and-go snacks, painting flowerpots, making slime, and so many other fun activities. Most importantly, we spent the afternoon building community and creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone to connect.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event so special. We are incredibly grateful to PPP for partnering with us and to all of the organizations that came out to share resources and created community with us. Your partnership and commitment make events like these possible.

We can’t wait to see you at our next PlayStreets activation! 💙☀️

One of our youth has a family member who urgently needs medical care, and the cost of testing and treatment has placed a financial strain on their family.

On July 6 at approximately 4:49 p.m., two individuals were detained by federal agents near 47th Street and Fairfield Avenue.

We are trying to identify the owner of this van so their family or loved ones can be informed about what happened. If you recognize this vehicle or have information that could help identify its occupants, please reach out or share this post to help us connect with their family.
