Participation includes answering questions related to your BFRBs and demographic information, and responding to questionnaires related to personality, mood, and psychiatric symptoms. Survey completers will be able to enter a drawing to win a $100 Visa Gift Card (15 winners will be selected).
The survey can be accessed at https://redcap.link/0hdi6sry

October 1-7 is !
Despite its their prevalence, skin picking disorder and trichotillomania are researched very little, leaving us with a lot to learn about these disorders.
The Addictive, Compulsive, and Impulsive Disorders Research Lab is working hard to expand this research, conducting many studies on TTM and SPD throughout the years. We are currently conducting a treatment study on TTM and SPD, as well as a study on natural recovery in BFRBs. If you're interested in participating in one of these studies, contact Eve (study coordinator) at [email protected], or give us a call at 773-702-5532.
If you have a BFRB and are looking for a supportive community, contact our friends at the TLC Foundation for BFRBs at www.bfrb.org who are celebrating this week with many exciting events and programs!

Checking in with loved ones about stigmatized topics like addiction and mental health can be vulnerable but often a necessary step to growth. The article below outlines the rising impact of the pandemic on addiction relapse.
