I.V. Lab Studios

As many of you have already learned, we at IV Lab Studios recently had to close our doors and say farewell. We were all taken aback when learning that our facility on Clybourn was to be sold to make way for condo development, leaving us with no choice but to vacate. Though we are saddened to move on, we look back at the past 15 years of making records as IV and know that the experience has been nothing short of amazing. From our humble beginnings inside the vault, to our eventual expansion into 2443 Clybourn, one thing remained constant throughout the years: our dedication to your records. Whether you were the smallest local band or a Grammy nominated artist, we take pride in the fact that everyone enjoyed the same IV treatment and signature expertise. We would like to thank everyone who has supported IV over the years and helped us to make the studio such an integral part of our city’s musical narrative. The records we made and the camaraderie we shared will forever be indispensable components of our shared history.

Located at Chicago and Sacramento, Rollin Weary and Chris Harden have established their new studio, Deluxe Recording Studio. Additionally, just up the street at Wabansia and Sacramento, Shane Hendrickson is at work setting up his new studio space. They offer the same high quality recording, mixing, and mastering services as before, and additionally Shane is offering a slew of post-production services.
