We headed to Charleston for FAB, the national workshop built by women, for women in food & beverage.

Now in its 10th year, FAB brought together 500 women and 70+ speakers for a few days of honest conversation, hard-won leadership lessons, and genuinely great food.

A few things we came home thinking about: what "local" really means when 85% of beef packing runs through just four companies, how presence is a skill you can practice (not a trait you're born with), and why the future of good food might come down to one word — diversity.
