Messy Mini Masters Art Classes

This week we went under the sea and learned about sea creatures! The weather was cooler and we only had one rainy day!

My small kindergarten group created stick art, a Jasper Johns inspired alphabet piece and self portraits!

The 2-4th graders finished out the year making paper mache cats and selfie self portraits! I am a novice with paper mache myself - so I think together - we did pretty well for our first time!

What makes your garden grow?? Ladybugs, bees, (no photo!) and butterflies! We had a lot of fun at Preschool Summer Kick off camp - trampoline, treehouse, sand and water table, paper bag nature books, chalk - and more! And now I’m going to bed early!

Isn’t EVERY day Children’s Day?? I mean. But Japan celebrates Children’s Day on May 5th…so we marked the day with koi fish windsocks!
