My sadness is profound.

And I have been DOWN this week. I find myself being embarrassed by my sadness often, but I think the world deserves more vulnerability. There are far too many people who cannot feel, so I’m grateful to be among those who can. I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me after I posted that too real reel. I was going through it! Now I know you sometimes do, too. We have to keep each other uplifted in these times. No matter how tough it gets, we’re tougher.

I challenged myself to look at old sketches and unfinished drawings and try to do something. I started this months ago, so I guess it was just waiting on the right time. I got a couple more in the chamber too. I’d love to make a new line of prints so let me know if you’d like one.

In the meantime, I am still looking for work and mutual aid. I got some support already, around $200, for which I’m so very grateful, but it’s not enough to make rent. If you have anything to spare it’s greatly appreciated.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, I hope you find a way to channel your emotions into something creative sometime soon.

It's Spring again and I have emerged🪻 Feeling like a certified BADDIE again like she never left. Like Michael Jackson bad! Energy: bad. Creativity: bad. Resilience: bad. The look: BAD bad!

I'm thankful to see another Spring and to have had a season of rest after a tumultuous 18 months, first with my aunt's illness and passing, then my own illness. But finally new ideas for art, videos, and other motivations are swirling!

In the meantime, I'm looking for mutual aid. This is always the in-between time before things start to pick up and unfortunately I've come up short for April. I'm also hoping to spread the love to my friend Khalil who is still with his family in G@z@. Anything you can spare would help immensely! Are you happy that it's finally Spring??

Hey 👋🏽

Well, here I am! Today marks officially three weeks from my last chemo treatment. My emotions have been all over the place since, and maybe someday I'll chronicle them somewhere when I'm farther away from them.

But for now, it's my birth month and I want to focus on celebrating! Imma roll this baby right on into July and honestly I'm ready to celebrate all summer. I'm turning 44 this year, and 4 is the number of stability in numerology, which I FULLY EXPECT the Universe to deliver on after the last five years I've had!

Anyway, I'm excited to get back to work and do everything I've been wanting to do for the past four months, which include:

• Eat sushi 🍣
• Have so many flowers in my house 🌷
• Picnic by the lake 🍽
• Go out into the woods and scream 😱
• Go for fancy cocktails 🍸
