🎉 Big news for oui’d and healthcare in Illinois! Last year, Katie from Modern Compassionate Care joined us to dive into some key topics, including 🍃 healthcare. Fast forward to now, and we’ve seen a big win: 4 new conditions are now eligible for medical cannabis in Illinois—endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and female or****ic disorder! Women and AFAB folks have long used cannabis to manage these conditions, but having them officially recognized is a huge step forward. It’s all about showing what cannabis can truly do when it’s supported by the system. 👏 Huge shoutout to Chicago NORML and all the advocates who made this progress possible.
