New owner of the Hideout plans to continue venue’s legacy as a cultural institution and community hub Teri O’Brien, a performing artist and former employee of the West Town venue, takes the reins from former partners Tim and Katie Tuten and Mike and Jim Hinchsliff, a deal that has been in the works for a year.

So honored to have worked with The Hide Out on this momentous moment in their journey moving forward. We honor who The Hide Out has been and their amazing former owners Tim and Katie Tuten and look forward to seeing what the future brings with its new owner, Teri O’Brien cheers to the future!

After 30 years of owning The Hideout, Jim, Mike, Katie and Tim have sold the club to Teri O’Brien, a musician and former Hideout employee.

But The Hideout is still The Hideout..

So you’ll still see your favorite bartenders and staff, hear great music and share real
conversations with your friends: the artists and activists, politicians and just plain folks who are
our community. Like they’ve always been.

The Hideout is a special place. We've celebrated birthdays, weddings, and memorials together.
During tough and sad times, we came together to seek solace. This is the Hideout community which will continue.
