Memory from today 15 years ago with my big bro Ottis “OJ” Anderson, Super Bowl XXV, MVP with the New York Giants; during the launch of the Concussion Services for K-12 sports when I was the VP of Clinical Operations for Saint Clare’s Health System in NJ. We modeled the program after The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)’s concussion protocol, which emphasizes a multi-faceted approach to concussion management, including early recognition, thorough assessment, individualized treatment plans, and a stepwise return-to-play protocol. We had some fun times!!
