Dr. Leonard Jewell has practiced quality veterinary medicine in three states over the past 20 years with an emphasis in preventative companion animal healthcare.

Having sold his thriving small animal practice in Lincoln Square, Dr. Jewell is bringing his experience and expertise to pet owners in Hyde Park. Dr. Jewell and his staff are delighted to bring their passion for quality medicine to the South Side.

Pershing Animal Hospital believes prevention is the best medicine. We emphasize education to help you keep your pet healthy. Unfortunately, since prevention isn’t always successful, we have a full range of services available. These include a broad spectrum of surgical and dental procedures, digital radiography, ultrasound technology, pain management, and more.

We take pride in our client service and we design treatment protocols that are tailored to your pet’s specific needs. We encourage you to be part of the process by asking questions and giving feedback on your pet’s issues.
