Turning 36 soon! And wow there’s a lot that changes each year you grow

And at this point in my life…
there are just things I don’t tolerate anymore in business.

1. I don’t tolerate environments that disrupt my peace. If it costs me my peace, it’s not worth it. I’ll keep searching for the next thing that aligns.
2. I don’t tolerate poor leadership. Some businesses look perfect on the outside, but once you’re inside, you see the lack of structure and accountability.
3. I don’t tolerate being micromanaged. If I know how to produce results, I don’t need someone hovering over every move.
4. I don’t tolerate explaining myself to people committed to misunderstanding me. I used to over-explain to prove I was right — now I let facts speak and move on.
5. I don’t tolerate taking responsibility for things that aren’t mine. If I have the data, I stand on it. I’m not carrying someone else’s lack of ownership.
6. I don’t tolerate fear controlling my decisions. The only way things move is when you stop being scared of how it might go.
7. I don’t tolerate stopping before I get a real no. This week reminded me — persistence will open doors most people quit on too early.
8. I don’t tolerate playing small to make others comfortable. The older I get, the more I trust my instincts over other people’s opinions.
9. I don’t tolerate building a life I don’t actually enjoy. If it costs my peace, it’s too expensive.

At 36, you realize something:

You don’t need more opportunities or proving yourself to everyone
You need better standards & to stick to them.
Fear no one, no client, no manager, no person
