I am struggling with the words to express my sadness for the people of Italy, especially in Amatrice home to the annual pasta festival.

Amatrice is especially famous for a pasta sauce, sugo all'amatriciana
usually served with a long pasta such as bucatini, spaghetti, or vermicelli.
