Happy Friday, everyone! Here are some fun facts about me to get to know me a little bit better. I would love to hear some fun facts about you in the comments below!
1. All the dogs I have owned/grown up with, including Dax, are rescues.
2. I am a quote ju**ie -- I LOVE quotes... There is a quote/advice for everything and they can be found anywhere. Friends, family, colleagues, books, etc... The right quote at the right time is SO valuable - inspirational, sentiment, capturing the moment/feeling/time.
3. I am a terrible artist in all sense of the word - drawing, painting, music, singing. No talent. I waited until last semester of senior year in HS to fill my art requirement bc I am THAT bad. I had a friend try to teach me to sing, fail.
4. I have a love/hate relationship with exercise so I get creative. My favorite "sports" are rollerblading, boxing, bowling and spikeball.
5. I love to travel - cliche... but I love traveling on my own. I found it so peaceful, grounding and enlightening (about others and myself). My favorite alone trip was driving the coast of CA from SF to SD in a convertible (alone).

I am an actuary turned communication consultant and coach.
How exactly does that happen?
I worked in actuarial consulting for over 6 years, which helped me to understand what worked in business and what did not.
I made it my mission to educate myself. I studied formally through a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and also informally by continuing to assess communications across a broad range of situations and interactions.
Today I work with individuals and groups from all over the world in different industries and professions. My goal is to help my clients use soft skills as their allies. I pride myself on teaming with my clients to understand their needs, aspirations, and concerns.

Great read from - soft skills are often the most sought out skills for any position. They increase opportunity, pay, and connections.
However they are hardest to learn!! I know a good coach who can help out🗣
