9th Annual Rock 'n' Vote: Local bands, send demos now! Not long after Rock 'n' Vote 2011, finalists appeared at the North Coast Music Festival ( Pyro Fighter ) and the Taste of Chicago ( Yeah Dude , Briar Rabbit ). And none of those local bands even won our annual contest.
