After 1,339 days, A is finally home!!

On June 1st, surrounded by family, friends, and supporters joining from near and far, both in the courtroom and on Zoom, A’s adoption was officially finalized!!

Her adoptive parents shared that they did not realize a part of their family was missing until A came into their home.

When she first arrived, A was shy, withdrawn, and anxious. Today, she is energetic, outgoing, and full of personality, according to her former caseworker.

At just 3 years old, A has spent her entire life in care. She first lived with a relative before finding her way to the family who would become her forever family. She now officially joins four older brothers in a lively, active home filled with sports, cheerleading, family activities, and all the joyful chaos that comes with being part of a big family.

Today, A is exactly where she belongs, smothered, covered, and surrounded by love.
