The wallcovering, entirely composed of organic raw materials, has been awarded in the category Excellent Product Design – Material and Surfaces by the German Design Award 2021 jury “for its outstanding design quality”. It has also received a Special Mentioning in the Eco Design category. The prize, granted to products of excellence, was introduced in 1953 on a Deutscher Bundestag’s initiative and is awarded every year by the German Design Council.
GlamPure is a compostable covering, made of 65% European linen fibers and 35% viscose. The technical qualities and the aesthetic content make it a suitable solution to the application in residential bio-architecture and hospitality contexts. The subjects of this exclusive collection are inspired by the Japanese paper technique of washi and characterized by the stratification of natural elements or light textures treated as impalpable overlapped gauzes. A holistic approach to housing that follows the principles of biophilia and an invitation to reconnect with the natural world.
