Big news: Market Match has been funded in California's 2026 Budget! 🎉 Thank you and state leaders for including $15 million for the California Nutrition Incentive Program (CNIP), which funds Market Match. 🥕

🌟 This victory belongs to each of you and to the thousands of California families and farmers who depend on Market Match at farmers markets across our state. Thank you to everyone who made calls, sent emails, mailed postcards, and showed up in Sacramento to fight for this critical food safety net program, including 2,000+ individuals and 350+ organizations. We are also deeply grateful to the elected officials who championed CNIP throughout a difficult and competitive budget year.

🌱 This win comes at a critical moment. At a time when federal food assistance is being cut, California has chosen to lead by investing in the health of low-income communities while supporting the local agriculture that feeds us all.
