Here’s a little back story to the origins of KADA

Kada was born on Adak island in Alaska. During the post Cold War era in 1989, and lived there for a two years before moving to the continental United States with his family.

The video attached is a modern look into the island.
The navy base was decommissioned a few years after Kada’s departure from his homeland and what you see is what’s left. It is in fact so hard to get resources to the island that they have resorted to frankensteining what buildings they have left with the remains of the naval housing and other vacant buildings.
