Chico Immediate Care

This post is for all former patients of Chico Immediate Care and anyone in the Chico area who is wondering about access to urgent care. The clinic site at 376 Vallombrosa was sold last year. After the sale the new owner was asked to remove the Immediate Care signs. To this date he has not done so and I have no idea when he plans on doing so and since the signs belong to the new owner I cannot remove them as the former medical director and CEO of Immediate Care. Over the last six months I have had multiple inquiries as to the reopening of Chico Immediate Care because of the new activity at the former clinic site.

I just want the community to know that there are no plans for Chico Immediate Care to reopen. I am retired and will not return to practice. At this time I have no knowledge of what the current owners plan on opening at that site. If anyone decides to open a medical practice at that site it will not be Chico Immediate Care even though all the signs are still up

Some possible good news for our community. The clinic site for Chico Immediate Care Medical Center, Inc. At 376 Valombrosa has been sold. My understanding is that the buyer plans on opening a new urgent care clinic there. It will not be a return of Chico Immediate Care but rather a new walk-in clinic under a different name. The sale closed in late May. While the new clinic will not be Chico Immediate Care it will increase access to medical care in the area if it happens.
