Peruvianus X TJG and SS02 in bloom together again.

This Peru x TJG was sown by Sacred Succulents in 1996 and is the perfect cactus of peruvianus and Tom Juuls Giant.

SS02 from Bolivia to Charles Glass to a 20”(!) cutting to Ed and Betty Gay in September 1964, to truckloads to Sacred Succulents and the world.

Some of the resulting hybrids going both directions, created by Sacred Succulents 25 years ago. Short spines or six inch spines or somewhere in between.
