Morningside Animal Hospital will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
If your pet has a history of anxiety during fireworks, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help you get everything you need before the long weekend.
Fireworks and loud celebrations can be stressful for many pets, and planning ahead is the best way to help them feel safe and comfortable. ❤️
Give us a call today if your pet may need a refill or if you'd like to discuss anxiety medication before the holiday.

Behind every veterinary team is a group of people who were once children with big dreams, tender hearts, and a love for animals that never went away. These little kids grew up into the people comforting nervous pets, supporting worried owners, keeping the hospital running, making each other laugh through hard days, and caring deeply for every patient who walks through our doors.

Last Saturday we had such a great time at the K-9 Classic! ☀️🐾🍃

We’re so grateful to everyone who braved the windy weather to come out and make the day so fun and memorable.

We loved spending the day representing Morningside, meeting so many wonderful dogs (both familiar faces and brand new friends) and cheering everyone on throughout the event.

Our booth stayed busy with free food and treat samples, plus our “Bobbing for Tennis Balls” station where pups could cool their heels in the wading pool and fish out their very own tennis ball!

We were honored to have our own Kayla M. serving as a judge for the Mutt Strut parade and friendly competition — not an easy task with that much cuteness in one place!

Thank you to Chico Area Recreation & Park District for inviting us to be part of the K-9 Classic, and thanks again to everyone who stopped by to say hello, share stories about your pets, and support a windy but wonderful community event. 💛
