Guiding on the American with Friends of the River was one of the highlights of my career. Rafting the river is an amazing adventure and a great way to understand and share the complexity of rivers.

The rains have helped replenish reservoirs and snow has built up snowpack levels statewide to the highest they’ve been in decades but for a number of reasons, experts are still hesitant to say definitively that California’s drought is over.
