Personal Care Aide

Our senior care business is looking for a Home Care Aide, CNA, or Medical Assistant to join our team and work with seniors in an independent living facility. This individual must be compassionate, dependable, and loyal. This position could be full-time or part-time, some evenings and weekends.

Senior Assistants, Inc. is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Home Care Organization, #044700007.

Normal Duties Performed: Our service covers activities of all aspects of daily living, including: meal escorts, meal reminders, getting up, going to bed, med reminders, minor house chores, escorts to activities or events, showers, sponge baths, oral care help, and laundry service. We can also go shopping for them. Some clients request walks or exercise help; we can go on walks with them, take them to the pool, or gym.

Requirements:
- Verified Certification
- Covid Vaccinations
- Must pass background check
- Must pass drug test
- Must be available for evenings & weekend shifts, as well as normal working hours
-Must have reliable transportation

To be registered by the State of California Dept. of Social Services to be a Home Care Aide requires the following costs:
Live Scan (Usually Between $65-$85)
Application Fee ($35)
TB Test (usually ($25)

Senior Assistants will help you go through all the paperwork this process, but the costs are paid by employee.

The "Home Care Aide" Certificate is valid for two years and can be used with ANY Home Care Organization in California.
