Crockpot Sprite Chicken❤️

Ingredients:

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter, melted
12 oz Sprite
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

-In a measuring cup mix together the melted butter, Sprite, seasoned salt, parsley and garlic powder.

-Place chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker (4 quart or larger)

-Pour the liquid you mixed together over the chicken.

-Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is tender and has reached an internal temperature of 165

Asian Sprite Chicken❤️❤️

-Delicious, delicate chicken strips in a sweet, sour, spicy, and sprite-based Asian-style sauce.

Ingredients:

600g of uncooked boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 piece of ginger root (tablespoon in size), sliced into very fine strips
pinch of red chilli flakes (optional, can omit if you don't like spicy)
480ml (2 cups) of Sprite (or use other similar brand)
6 spring onions (green onions), chopped.
Cooking oil spray (I used Avocado)

Directions:

-Add the chicken to a ziplock bag or bowl with the 1 tbs of soy sauce (not the dark) and ½ tablespoon of the cornstarch. Mix until well coated.

-Spray a frying pan over a medium heat with cooking oil spray. Once the pan is hot, add the chicken and fry until the pieces are golden all over (couple of minutes).

-Remove and set aside.

-Add the ginger, garlic, chilli flakes and 4 of the chopped spring onions to the pan and fry for a minute to infuse the flavour.

-Mix the remaining cornstarch with a little drop of cold water to make a slurry (runny paste)

-Add in the sprite, dark soy sauce and the cornstarch slurry into the pan.

-Heat the sauce on medium high, add back in the chicken and let it bubble until it starts to reduce down and thicken.

-Serve sprinkled with the remaining spring onions and serve with your choice of sides. Enjoy!!!

Sprite on Fire

Sprite on Fire was a ginger-infused flavor of Sprite that was introduced in China and Hong Kong back in 2003, according to Sprite Fandom. It is said to have a burning sensation and is sometimes referred to as "Sprite Finger Lemon," depending on where it is being consumed. Presumably, the name "Sprite Finger Lemon ” is a reference to the finger lemon fruit, which is known for its unusual shape. It's sometimes referred to as "Buddha's Hand", according to Hawaii Pharm.

Sprite Tropical Mix

Sprite Tropical Remix was re-released in the spring of 2015 under new branding. Sources on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have shown it popping up in the eastern United States, with eBay listings also appearing.

After a limited-roll out in spring 2015 and no public mention from Coca-Cola, the official Sprite website was updated showing the limited time re-release for Sprite Tropical Mix on February 29, 2016. The new bottle label shows that the tropical flavors are lemon/lime, strawberry, and pineapple.

In 2018, Sprite introduced a similar drink, 'MIX by Sprite Tropic Berry, exclusive to McDonald's restaurants. Along with the base lemon-lime flavor, Tropic Berry includes a blend of strawberry, orange, and pineapple flavor.

In 2019, The Coca-Cola Company redesigned Sprite packaging, replacing the drink's former retro branding with uniform minimalist branding, matching that of other flavors in the Sprite lineup.

Sprite

Sprite is a clear soda with a lemon-lime flavor and is known for its green color branding. Sprite is caffeine-free, crisp tasting, and has had a wide fan base since its introduction in 1961. Sprite is often thought to be a close competitor to 7Up, another caffeine-free lemon-lime flavored soft drink. Sprite has a wide fan base and one that has changed a bit in demographics over the years. Nonetheless, Sprite has managed to stay relevant as one of the most popular sodas in the world.

Sprite has had several slogans to help promote the drink. One of the most well-known slogans for Sprite is “Obey Your Thirst”. Sometimes the slogan “Obey” would be used as a more simple saying and implied a psychological connection to the product and its past slogans. Another newer slogan used for Sprite is “Freedom From Thirst”. This helps connect the soda to the idea that Sprite is a refreshing drink and shows a bit of a new mindset in Sprite’s marketing.
