My full report after the verdict in favor of Afroman. An Adams County, Ohio sided with rapper Afroman in a $3.9 million civil trial where sheriff's deputies accused him of using their likenesses without permission.
Hear from Afroman directly after the verdict in my report below. A jury in Adams County ruled in favor of Afroman and against the deputies on Wednesday. The lawsuit was filed by several County sheriff's deputies after a raid on the rapper's house and a song he wrote afterward called "Lemon Pound Cake. Moments ago speaking with Afroman as a jury in Adams County, Ohio is currently deliberating over whether the rapper is liable in a civil case leveled against him by several sheriff’s deputies. Afroman tells me it is his First Amendment right to say what he wants through his music. More of the on WCPO 9

Elwood Jones was arrested Wednesday for allegedly driving under the influence, according to Cincinnati FOP President Ken Kober. The arrest comes after a 30-year-old murder case was dismissed against Jones.
A CPD officer told WCPO 9 that Jones was charged with OVI, leaving the scene of a crash and failure to control a motor vehicle after he was involved in a crash at the intersection of East McMillan and Woodburn avenues around 5 p.m. No one was injured in the crash.
