Meet Devon Spivey, a determined athlete who’s been hitting the ice in sled hockey for the past 5 years! After becoming a bilateral below-knee amputee in 2018, Devon found a new passion in the sport and hasn’t looked back since.

Off the ice, Devon is a husband, father, and proud dog parent—and he’s even been interviewed on the news twice and featured in a commercial! Oh, and did we mention? He can literally say, "I've died and lived to tell the tale." 👀🔥

Hockey is for EVERYBODY, and the Shootout Challenge is here to prove it! 🚨

This event is inspired by the Hockey is for Everyone initiative from the NHL, AHL, and ECHL, which was created to celebrate diversity in the game and make sure EVERYONE gets their shot. But we wanted to take it even further!

🔹 "Challenge" – A tribute to the Knights of Columbus Hockey Challenge, where young athletes test their shooting accuracy and showcase their skills. It’s a tradition built on competition, community, and the love of the game.

🔹 "Shootout" – Our unique twist! For the first time, all five hockey divisions—boys, girls, blind, special, and sled hockey—will be on the ice together. This event is not just about skill; it’s about unity, energy, and proving that hockey truly is for everybody!
