For additional fun, and to finish them off, we’re going to bring back a tradition I grew up with by putting “fortunes” or “dreams” wrapped in foil and shaped like candles for Jesus’s birthday. Then we will ask Jesus to bless those wishes and our lives for the new year.

Ours aren’t baked or decorated yet but we wanted to get the recipe up in case you would like to try it.
