Today was pretty surreal, slightly intimidating, but overall incredible. I was asked to partner with the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute to help them in their efforts to raise awareness for the maternal mental health crisis and end the stigma surrounding perinatal mental health disorders.

This is where my heart is and the reason I wrote a book, started a business, and began public speaking - because moms are dying at record numbers due to preventable and treatable diseases. This is a crisis that affects all of us, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to lend my voice and my experience to help UC’s noble efforts!
