Who knew learning about plumbing could be so fun?? In our Plumbing Puzzles youth workshop yesterday we started out by learning about supply versus drain lines (and vents!) as well as the influence gravity has on our home’s plumbing system. We did a mix and match game with plumbing materials and took a field trip to the basement to practice turning off a water supply main. Then we went outside and ran our own supply and drain lines to one of DIYD’s sink stations, and by the end of the class, the kids had water running TO the faucet, via a sprinkler they made, and then OUT the drain! 🚿💦
