Epsilon Lambda Sigma Philo Affiliate wants to take the time to spotlight our very own president Philo Belinda Roberts. She is a compassionate and dedicated leader. She is the manager at KFC where she and her staff have been recognized for their excellent customer service and sales. She loves spending time with her family and working in the community.

Today we take the time to say Happy Birthday to one of the best advisors!!!! We thank you for everything you do for us and appreciate you. So everyone let’s wish her a Happy Birthday!!!!

As we begin a new year full of possibilities, the Philo National Board of Directors would like to wish our Philo sisters from across the world a Phenomenal Year! We invite you to create and experience: new moments, new adventures, new lessons, new memories & new opportunities!

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved Black Americans in Texas were finally notified that they were officially free. Although ALL enslaved people in the U.S. weren't officially granted their freedom until the 13th amendment was ratified on December 6, 1865, Juneteenth serves as a way for African Americans across the United States to collectively celebrate America's Emancipation Day.

Today, we are celebrating America's ideas of freedom and justice for ALL.
