Hi, I’m Julia 🤍

I’m 27 and based in Northern Kentucky, where I live with my sweet husband Aaron, our two wiener dogs (Maple & Peanut), and our cat Kiwi.

I picked up a camera in high school and never really put it down. This year marks nine years of being a professional wedding photographer, which still feels surreal to say. Over time, I’ve fallen in love with blending digital and film, and for the past two years I’ve been offering Super 8 wedding films as well (truly one of my favorite ways to tell a story).

Outside of photography, you can usually find me at home, either hosting our weekly happy hour with friends (one of my favorite little rhythms of life), or being lazy with with Aaron and the pups, listening to records, and decorating our house. If I wasn’t doing this, I honestly think I’d be an interior designer.

I also love to travel, and it feels like such a gift that this job lets me do that. This year I’ll be heading to New York City, North Carolina, and Italy for my first international destination wedding (!!)

Hanna & Nakita’s day was just… full. In the best way 🤍

There was so much joy from the very beginning, like the kind you don’t have to try to create, it’s just naturally there. The two of them were beaming all day.

There were SO many happy tears. Between the two of them, their families, everyone surrounding them—it was one of those days where you could literally feel how deeply loved they are. The kind of love that shows up in tight hugs, teary smiles, and the way people kept looking at them like “this is everything.”

It felt like such a privilege to get to witness it all — their love for each other and the really beautiful, supportive family they’ve built around them.

Days like this are why I do what I do 🤍

These two (well, three!) are truly after my own heart. Their engagement photos were in their home, just walking their dog and enjoying their morning coffee. I couldn’t stop laughing with them. 🤍
