Inner Divinity - Knowing the Source Within

In 2016, an octopus named Inky pulled off the kind of escape that sounds more like fiction than real life, slipping out of his tank at a New Zealand aquarium, gliding across the floor under cover of night, and squeezing his boneless body through a 50-meter drainpipe that led straight back to the ocean. What made the story so unforgettable was not just the distance or the daring route, but the almost unbelievable intelligence and determination behind it — a quiet, calculated breakout by a creature built for problem-solving and survival.

By the time aquarium staff realized he was gone, Inky had already vanished into the sea, leaving behind only a wet trail and one of the most astonishing animal escape stories in recent memory. It was a perfect reminder that the ocean’s most mysterious minds do not always make a sound, but they can still outsmart the walls built around them and find their way home.

He eventually had to have his colon removed - according to his doctor, it was "battleship gray" when they removed it.
