Something new...
I typically work on 1 to 3 tricks per week and try to dial them in by riding a minimum of 1 hour per day. My goal is to ride away from each by the end of the week, but sometimes it's just about making a little bit of progress towards landing the tricks.
That said, I was watching Morning Ride video last week on his YouTube channel and I decided to adopt his approach to my riding for the next few weeks.
Instead of working on 1 to 3 tricks, RL has a list of 15 tricks (or so) that he works on. He tries each trick 5 times and then moves on to the next.
So, I made my list of tricks (which is closer to 20 currently) and I started this process today. My son decided to join in as well (finally 👊👊).
One thing I like about this new approach is that it will force me to work my balance and bike control in a number of different scenarios vs. just a couple, which should improve my riding overall. I am curious to see how this goes over the next few weeks. Wish me luck on the Decades cause I've been getting wrecked 💯
