Happy publication day to A THOUSAND SOULS by . 📚🎉
A collection of fourteen stories interweaving the lives of three generations in the remote town of Neptune, Vermont. Sharply observed, wry, and deeply tender, these stories resonate with both the intricacy and cost of interconnection as the years pass, and ordinary lives take unexpected turns.Â
In a recent interview (linked in bio), Tudish noted that the fictional town she created for the novel still feels real and close to her as a writer. “I feel as if I spent time with these characters,” she said. “I want to advise people to read each story slowly and take in every detail. You have to stop and play, and then you’ll get things that you wouldn’t if you were reading fast.”
We’ve long admired the precision and care in Tudish’s writing, and we hope you love this book as much as we do.
