Stitching Sabbatical

Three years after I started learning embroidery I had the opportunity to stitch my first realistic horse, Silvio.

I didn’t get to stitch another until 2023, when I created Fatima’s portrait as a pattern for my second book.

Six years apart and wow, what a difference!

So much growth can happen quietly while life keeps moving. You don’t always notice it in the moment, but when you return to something familiar, it all comes into focus.
