Consider the following evaluation criteria for great brand positioning the next time you’re working on your statement:
+ Is the positioning relevant?
+ Is the positioning different?
+ Is the positioning statement complete?
+ Is the positioning statement single-minded?
+ Is the language precise?
If you can answer “yes” to each of the five criteria above, then you have a strategic foundation that increases your chances of winning in the marketplace.
If you answered “no” to any of these questions or want more guidance on writing a strong positioning statement, we are here to help.

Know your goal before you start writing or updating your brand positioning statement.
A couple of options:
1. Write positioning to capture where your brand is today, or;
2. Write positioning for where you want your brand to be in the future
