As you make plans to get out on the river this weekend and enjoy the fireworks, please keep this temporary river restriction in mind and begin planning ahead.

The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port Ohio Valley has established a temporary 'safety zone' river closure for the BB Riverboat Cincy Blast Fireworks & Drone show on Friday, July 3rd.

📍 Ohio River: The entire width of the Ohio River from KY to OH shoreline between Mile Markers 469.5 (Daniel Carter Beard 'Big Mac' Bridge)–470.5 (Roebling Suspension Bridge)
🕤 Time: Friday, July 3rd 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM
🚫 No vessels may transit through this area during the display.

We recommend if you are wanting to head to your dock or launch ramp during the river closure timeframe, consider anchoring on the same side of the closure zone as your dock or launch ramp to avoid being impacted by the temporary river closure.
