As we close out National Public Health Week 2026, we are proud to spotlight two of our incredible board members who dedicate their lives to healthcare and public health advocacy.
👨🏾⚕️Cruff Renard, MD: A hospitalist with St. Elizabeth Physicians, Dr. Renard brings a wealth of global health experience. From leading national health initiatives in Haiti with Partners In Health to his current focus on comprehensive inpatient care, his perspective is invaluable to our mission.
👩🏻⚕️ Nicole Damari, MD, MS: An internist, pediatrician, and dedicated medical educator in Cincinnati. Dr. Damari has been a champion for refugee health since 2014, blending clinical excellence with a passion for physician advocacy and community partnerships.
Thank you both for your tireless work in the hospital and your commitment to a healthier, more inclusive community!

Care doesn’t end at arrival. 💙
For many of our new neighbors, navigating the U.S. healthcare system is a daunting maze. That’s why we’re so proud of our Health Navigators Program, where trusted cultural leaders become certified Community Health Workers to guide families toward the care they deserve.
This semester, social work students at Northern Kentucky University are stepping up to help us reach a $4,550 goal to keep this vital program running. From scheduling medical appointments to advocating for trauma-informed care, your support ensures no one has to navigate their health journey alone.
