Up for Grabs is back! Northside Community Council is relaunching this beloved neighborhood event in a new place (McKie), on a new date (Nov. 15) and time (10am-1pm). Volunteers welcome! Get your boxes started and follow the event for updates.

After almost 20 years, more than fifty tons of great stuff diverted from landfill, and an extended pause during peak pandemic years, it's time to rethink and reenergize.

After taking over from Anne Delano Steinert and Barbara Boylan, organizers Sandy Hamilton and Mati Senerchia are thrilled to pass the torch to the new leadership of Northside Sustainability, a committee of Northside Community Council and the event's longtime sponsor. We're so excited to see where these thoughtful and energetic Northsiders take it!

We'll keep posting recycling and swap opportunities to help you keep stuff out of the landfill as details emerge for the next event.
