Jessica Smithorn is the principal oboist of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Shippensburg Festival Orchestra, the second oboist of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, and English hornist with the Knoxville Symphony. She was previously the English hornist with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and was an associate musician with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. She serves on the faculty of Sewanee Summer Music Festival, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and at Southern Adventist University.
