Faculty members at Cincinnati State joined the statewide Day of Action on March 4 to defeat Senate Bill 1. Thanks to everyone who visited our "action station" in Main 237 and sent email messages and made phone calls to members of the Ohio legislature and Governor DeWine. Cincinnati State AAUP members prepared over 200 Stress Relief gift bags for students to keep them going strong after Spring Break. At the Chapter meeting on Feb. 26, faculty wrote notes of encouragement and assembled the bags, and on Mar. 19 and 20 volunteers distributed the bags to students.
